Best LED viewing angles for tanks, what do you use?
Went to Radio shack to get a bunch of LEDs but found nothing there that had a wide angle and was bright. Been looking online at ebay site but you never know what quality your getting. How do I know it is 5000cmds (or whatever it is)?
What do you all use? I have 2 tanks. One is a 20L so thats 12-15" deep and the other is my 90 thats 24" deep when filled, but, will probably be 18" when I am done with it. |

Those look intresting, and, I see they seem to have a magnification/dispersion bubble on them like my flashlight does.
Yea, I want to stay away from the thin pencil beam shooting stright down, I think, I am still experimenting, lol. I have dug up ones that have a "viewing angle" of 14/40/60 degrees. Not sure which one would be best for each tank, before I buy. Last edited by sikpupy; 12/08/2008 at 11:58 AM. |
