open brain shrinking !

Hi ,,,,,,

I have new red open brain coral problem , after first two hours when 250w metel halid open the bain its fine , but after two hours its star shrinking ! can you till me why ?

To much light,or and to much flow.

more than likely too much light. The red coloration is found in deeper waters than the green and will appretiate a little less light. Try providing a little more shade over the coral and see what reaction you get over 4-5 days.

You can also try target feeding. A little baby brine and some cyclopezze will make it happy
