I've Got Polyps!! And a Question

I've got a few polyps on a live rock that closed up a few weeks ago and haven't re-opened. They've been sitting still for long enough that brown alge is starting to grow on them but they still have a nice green color.

Tank levels are fine but It did happen after a massive water change

was the salinity and temps the same as your main tank when you added in the water?

Yep, I'm real anal about that stuff. They are still nice and green under the algae but they have not opened

What are the conditions in your reef? If algae start to overgrow a coral just because it's been closed for a while, you might have bigger problems.

If your tank is in good health overall, it may just be that the algae are bugging the coral enough that it's not opening fully any more. Try to get the coral clean, and put it in an area with a bit more flow.

My conditions are great, the only thing I could use is a bit more flow

I should mention, the only reason there is algae on them is because I wasn't sure of any way to get it off rom them. The only spot of nuisance algea on this rock is where they are because I don't want to hurt them getting rid of it.
