VHO to t5

I have a pfoh-4 vho lighting system that is currently running 4 t12 48 inch vho bulbs, the ballast being used for this are 2 workhorse 7. I have this on a six foot tank and have the bulbs staggered to cover the whole thing. My plan was to get 2 more workhorse 7 ballasts, but instead I am looking at going to t5 bulbs. My plan now will to use the 2 wh7 and run 4 t5 54watt bullbs off of each ballast, that should gibe me 8 bulbs total. Is anyone running anything like this off of wh ballast? I will stagger the bulbs like I am doing now. Should I do 4 36 inch t5s on each ballast instead? Couls someone give me some good recomendations with the ballast i currently have. This tank has gsp a carpet anem. and a few fish.
Thanks
