36" T5 Actual Length? End cap to end cap?

I am thinking of adding a couple t5 retro's in my exisiting hood with my 2x175w MH. However It will be a tight fit length wise.

Anybody have an exact length measurment on the overall length from end cap to end cap?

I understand it might vary slightly due to end cap brand so if you could list the brand as well.

Thanks,
Mike

They fit fine, I installed couple of them in my 36" canopy and thereĀ“s still little gap at the ends.

My tank is not standard, and canopy is custom.

I have exactly 36 1/8 of mountable length. I just want to make sure.

My retro T-5 is roughly 35 1/2" and they are the water proof end caps
so you should be OK

Exactly 35 inches on a pair I am retrofitting. You have enough space.
