Will koralia 3 impeller fit to koralia 2 for more flow?

I need some more flow in my tank and was wondering if koralia 3 impeller can fit to koralia 2 to get more flow? Maybe even 4?
The part is only $7.

IMO you are asking for trouble when you try to modify something that was never intended to be modified. The size of the impellor and motor are matched depending on size. Placing a larger impellor on the smaller motor increases the load which may cause excessive heat, overload and eventual failure. The additional load could also cause the coil to overheat and trip a breaker or GFCI. If you are not home when that happens who knows how much collateral damage could be caused.

A #3 cannot fit into a #2. However a #4 will fit into a #3 Have modified the crud out of koralias for a LONG time. Never had an issue. Best mod is to use a black sureflow kit prop & mag in a k4 or k3. Makes it one wicked little powerhead.

I know there is a sureflow kit for maxi-jets but I was unaware that there was a mod kit available for Korallia. Can you provide a link to that product. I use Korallias and would be intersted in a mod kit if available. Thanks.

They are the same kit. The prop just happens to fit the K4 as well as the maxi jet

My #3 impeller fits just fine in my #2. Been like that for months with no problems. I even remember reading on here a few months back that the only difference between the two was the impeller.
