Am I okay quarantining multiple anthias?
I know this probably sound like a stupid question, but knowing that anthias are constantly asserting dominance for their pecking order, I'm a bit worried about keeping them in a fairly stark QT.
I have a 30 gallon QT with some LR rubble, and, and a few pieces of PVC. I'll be getting a male and 2 female lyretail anthias next week which are about 2 - 3" each. I'm not worried about the size of the QT as far as bioload since the tank is fully cycled. As I said, my biggest concern is the smallest female not having many hiding spots in a QT. |

They should be fine. Mine get along without issue and swim together without any pecking order issues. I would suspect that they will get things figured on their own and do fine...

Well, If they all go in at same time they have no dominance over a particular area, and everyone can scatter to there spots.

Thanks to you both. Everything in my tank so far has been peaceful, so these will be my first semi-aggressive fish.
