ID needed on anemone type thing pic inside

Ive had this thing for awhile now. I posted it awhile ago but couldnt get the best of picture. I still cant figure out what it is. When I first saw it a few months ago it looked exactly like a tiny bubble tip anemone, it had bubble tips and everything. The bubble tips have kind of gone away, but its pinkish red in color, with purple/pink tips, and has a green center. Ive had aiptasia, and majano(sp.) and I know its not either one of those. It hasnt spread, and it moved places once when I first got the rock. This thing has me stumped. Can anyone take a guess on what it is? If you have any questions let me know.

either it is an RBTA or majano (they can come in some crazy colors)

Majano. You don't want him around.

Keep an eye on it. I highly doubt it's a BTA. Possible but not likely.

Hot water w/kalk paste fresh from the microwave, in a plastic syringe, should kill it. I use a plastic syringe tipped with a piece of rigid airline tubing. I just bomb them with a steady stream of boiling water.

I am going to have to agree with the Majano, ranks right up there with Aptasia. You don't want either one.

its funny though, how a regular anem can die in a tank, but these critters come up and flourish... Frustrating really

I also think it's a majano. Some of those species do have shorter bubble looking tips during development. But if there is only one I say just let it be for a while and see if it develops or grows further.

Majanos come in a variety of colors. Some are quite beautiful,

They will eventually be problematic.

looks like majano.

also, I recommend to get rid of that Valonia algae bubble and any others like it. Valonia is a clean water algae with no enemies. Basically, this means it can't be stopped. kind of like majanos heh, only worse. It will wreck your tank if it gets away from you
