ID Starfish please..
Its right in the middle of the pictures, white with black stripe through it. Is it bad? I've heard of smaller starfish eating SPS, I don't want to have that issue. I found a couple on the rocks.

+1 to Asterina Starfish
Largely considered to be a nuisance star. Eat algae (incl coraline). I have them every once in a while in my tank on the glass. I've never had a issue with them, but I have heard a couple times of people reporting that they munched on some corals (don't remember if it was LPS or SPS). I leave mine alone, however it wouldn't hurt to pull them if you're so inclined. |
