do i have the right light
i bought a PHILIPS 75w plant growth light bulb for my fuge i was told to get one but it is very green and I have never seen one this color on any fuge did i get the right one

what is the colour temp of the bulb? 3000k, 5000k, 7500k? You are looking for a bulb between 6500k- 10000k

there is no rating on it just says plant growth light

if under 10000K it should be good.... yellow to white light. Most grow bulbs are between 4500 - 6500 K.

ok just a really green tint to it i had a daylight compact florescent that didnt seem to be doing much so switched

I just use a clamp light from any hard ware store and a curly-Q fluorescent bulb with a 6500k rating.....works great, cheato grows well as do feather dusters a couple brown zoas and theres' xenia down there.....not all to sure how it got there!!!LOL
