Hydor FLO Rotating Deflectors or Hydor Koralia?
I have to mj 900 (230gph) heads in my 29g and I'm never quite happy with the flow...want to try something different, maybe more random. I don't really like how these powerhead direct a strong, constant output (near the units) to a single spot in my small tank.
I was thinking of putting hydor flo rotating deflectors on both heads....which would cause totally random flow patterns....but then I was thinking for the same price I could get a get a single hydor koralia #1 (400gph) which might produce a nicer output but with little randomization. Which sounds like a better idea? Two koralia's on a wave maker might be nice but...too much $ for now... |
