Kudos to DR F&S!
In a thread last week a lot of us found out what the special code was to get 5 gal buckets of Reef Crystals for a great price from Dr F&S.
I ordered 2 and 1 showed up within a few days. The other showed up 3 days later and was suspiciously lite. I opened the bucket and it was about 1/2 full. I checked the tracking for FedEx and found that this bucket was 49lbs when it left Dr F&S, spent 3 days in North Salt Lake, Utah for no apparent reason that FedEx could come up with (since both buckets left together and made the first two stops together) and when it showed up was 32 lbs. Once I got a chance to think about it, I have no way of knowing if some Reefer working for FedEx got a little greedy figuring nobody would ever find out (helping him or herself to some of my salt) or........somebody tainted the contents conjuring images of razor blades in caramel apples and nasty tank crashes a few months down the road, immediately following a water change. I contacted Dr F&S and not only did they have a new bucket on the way (free of charge) by days end, but received a few apologies. I can't figure how this was possibly their fault, but I have to stop and give them Kudos for handling it so well (and promptly) P.S. I nearly didn't post this. My intention is to let everybody know that Dr F&S is excellent is dealing with issues. Not to give anybody ideas as how to rip them off...........so please don't.

Dr F&S is probably one of the best stand up companies out there.
The most likely situation is that the bucket was dropped and they dumped a bunch of the salt out. Who knows how much was broomed back into the bucket =\

I'm always glad to hear about another good experience with DR F&S, as all mine have always been great and their livestock is superb! Always eating and always healthy. I really have to give it to these guys. Heads and shoulders above quite a bit of their competition, and it shows! Everyone loves them and I can't really blame them.
