Buying a 65 gallon tall tank!!!
Ok so i'm looking into buying a 65 gallon tall tank (or one roughly as large while still being 36" wide) so that when i move from dallas to denver i can have a tank ready to put everything from my 30 gallon into. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which brands i should go with as well as stay away from? I would like to keep the price of the tank fairly resonable and i don't need a stand because i will be building one most likely. Also, it must be reef ready/ pre-drilled. Thanks so much for your help.

there are a handful of tank building websites, its the shipping that kills. you can get a huge tank for 400$ but shipping is gonna me 1000$

Marineland has their new series of tanks out and I think one of them is 150 gallons, 3' long x 3' wide x 27" tall. They come in a Starphire glass option as well. No idea on price though.

If you plan I sticking with a standard sized one -- I would put some consideration into getting a 58 instead of a 65 -- they both have the same footprint, but the 58 is just a wee bit shorter. The reason I like my 58 so much is that there is no center brace.

Awesome....thanks for the ideas. I'll have to check out deepsea aquatics. I also like the idea of the 58 because of it not having a center brace. I really would like to get the biggest tank i can that's still 36" in length. I want a mixed reef tank so the depth doesn't bother me because i'll most likely keep zoo's and other softies and LPS on the bottom. My lighting is 6 34" T5's that i'll be upgrading to Tek II relectors and icecap 660 ballasts and an additional 2 bulbs.
