CA reactor CO2 Deguss question
I am just about to add a CA reactor to my system and was thinking about dripping it into my Cheato tank. The benefit being two fold. The macro would help up take some of the CO2, and in theory make the macro grow even faster.
Is my this just wishful thinking or does it make sense to any one else. |

Why would you not get a good reactor that doesn't waste any co2 ?
Plants do not only live off co2 . I do understand u want to supplement. Most people run reactors with dual chambers for this purpose . Any excess co2 in the effluent is taken up in the second chamber . I still can't figure out why one would not buy a reactor that was miserly enough and ran good enough that it wouldn't need a second chamber. If properly sized and efficient . The second chamber does serve another purpose. The calcium uptake is so high that the initial reactor purchased cannot handle the growth of the tank .
