Best for SPS, lumenbright or lumenarc reflector?
Need to light a 4'x7'x30" tank. Was considering one bank of three 400W mh's vs two banks for a total of six 400W mh's. There is only 18" between the hood and the top of the tank. Keep mostly SPS. Any thoughts on these two reflectors in keeping SPS?
Thanks! |

lumenbrights all the way but youll want to lift them up a little higher that your canopy allows you could get enough spread from them to cover the whole tank. but if the canopy is a restriction they make a new lumenbright mini wide which has light spread like the large one except fits in a shorter canopy. if you go this way i would suggest doing a bank or 6 versus 3.

I didn´t like my Lumenbrights. LB didn´t spread the light, I can see a lot of shadows in my tank. Lumenarc fixed it
Go with Lumenarc Regards |

I own both & lumenbrite all the way, especially with a 30" height.
With a lumenarc, doubt you'll be able to get good par all the way down to the bottom. |

I purchased Lumenarc mini because my hood is only ten inches. So it ends up that my reflector is only a couple of inches off the water, and it spreads the light evenly. Props to Lumanarc
