T-5 bulb's Need advise on what to get

Hi there, I bought a 36" nova sundial a few months ago. Now I know the stock bulbs are garbage so I want to line up some new ones. I have no idea what to get or what brands to look for.
I have a 18" deep 60gal and have room for 4 bulbs in this fixture. Right now I have some softies and LPS.....in the future I'd like to put a few SPS in the upper part of the tank.

Thanx for your help
Chris

I think that's a good start - it will be a very blue white look and have very good color. If you can manage it, I would recommend buying an extra bulb or two just so you can try some different combos.

I would also recommed that 2 of the 4 bulbs be ATI Blue Plus, get at least one, if not two, aquablue special (as mentioned above). You might want a Gman midday or UVL Aquasun for a more white balanced look. I also really like the UVL 75.25 - it's more in the pink spectrum and works well with the blue bulbs.

I would do.
Actinic +/ Blue +
aqua sun
aquable+/ aquablue special
actinic+/ Blue +

Or substitute the aqua sun for a 75/25 like mentioned above

So....only one white bulb?
and is there a big difference between the blue+ and the atinic+?

That's actually 2 white bulbs . Use the link on par .The higher numbers
are what u are looking for in reference to the blus + and actinic plus .It's the same or similar bulb . blue + = ATI , Actinic + = Geisemann . The ATI is the better bulb in a nutshell ime .

Get six bulbs as u will pay the same for shipping 1-6 . Use the above suggestion .

Actinic +/ Blue +
aqua sun
aquable+/ aquablue special
actinic+/ Blue +

Get the other two bulbs as a UV 75/25 or Aqua Blue Special . So u can play with the colors .

If you go with the aqua sun bulb I wouldn't mix in the 75/25. It was to pink for my eye when I tried it. Both have a pink color to them and don't compliment each other very well.

With my 6 bulb i actually run an aqua sun and a 75/25 plus 3 actinic + and an aquablue +. It's like a 12-13K colour, I'm switching the 75/25 to a figi purple to switch things up i think.
