DIY torpedo tube

1. Aqua UV sterilizer hooked up to pressure rated pump. In need of bulb change.
2. Three weeks of shipping to finally get a working UV bulb.
3. Find out transformer is bad.
4. Another week of shipping to get a replacement
5. Hook up bulbs to transformers and test. Yes it works! Glass of wine.
6. Screw everything back together and turn on pump, open feed valves.
7. Notice water starting to accumulate in quartz sleeve of UV bulb. Swear words. Glass of wine.
8. Turn off valves and pump. Dissasemble. Find leaky O ring. Grease, replace. Put back together WITHOUT tightening support gaskets. Why waste the time doing that, it will probably leak again and Ill have to take it apart anyway... right? R
9. Give her a test run by opening valves and turning on pumps.
10. Gloat that quartz sleeve and O ring are not leaking for about thirty seconds... while getting ready for another glass of wine.
11. Watch quartz sleeve with precious new UV bulb shoot ALL THE WAY across the room, smashing both the quartz sleeve and UV bulb into 1000 pieces. Simultaneously, 20 gallons of water jets out of plumbing onto floor in about five seconds.
