RO/DI Booster pump or not?

I have 50 psi entering the membrane after the prefilters. Will I see a notable increase in the amount of pure water/time with a booster set to 70psi? I would like to be able to make more in the same or less time. I am set at 75gpd with a spectrapure 98% membrane.

Are you at 50 psi because of your water pressure or could it possibly be because of some dirty filters? just in case

I think most all of the spectrapure ro/di units call for more than 50psi to run at the listed gpd. I would think increasing the pressure would increase the gpd output. I would set the booster for the psi recommended in the instruction manual

The RO filters are optimized for working pressures in teh 70-80psi range. Your system would work alot better at the correct pressure.

+1 Boost your pressure. You'll get a better rejection rate and more GPH.
