Skimmer Recommendations???
Hoping to do this right the first time - (something I rarely do)
It time to buy a skimmer and I'm having trouble deciding. My budget is around $300. I have a 100 gallon tank with a 40 gallon sump/refugum. Would a Octopus Extreme 160 be a wise choice for my budget? And and all information will be appreciated.... |

I would get one for around a 200 gallon tank if your budget allows for it. Get the biggest that you can afford and that will fit in your tank.

From what I've heard, a LOT of people seem to like Octopus/ASM skimmers. GL

I have a MSX 160 on my 90 and am very satisfied wit it. Had to trim back the mesh a little to stop the start issue I was having but works great now.
