Dying anemone?

This is yesterday:

And this is right now:

Is it dying or just during an "adjustment phase"?

Anemones are basically 99% water filled bags, every now and again they displace their water to expel wastes. Its probably nothing. Keep an eye on it and if it doesn't re-inflate in the next day or so you may have an issue.

Well, just got back to the house.....he is looking better than earlier....not great though. He may be trying to make his way down to the substrate as well. So maybe when that happens he will start to look better.

Not sure why I apparently think its a boy though....

That's how they expel waste. He's taking a dump . Mine does it almost daily. It's nothing to worry about unless your water parameters are out of whack. I've noticed they will also do that if they are stressed from water issues. If the Anemone gets stressed from unstable water parameters or doesn't like it spot for some reason, then It is likely to start moving around the tank and then you may have a problem. They usually deflate and reinflate within a few hours and you will notice that some days they inflate more then others.
