Best way to point powerheads,

In a 90, currently have 2 #3's one on each side panel pointing angle down at front,,, is this the best placement I can have, im getting a lot of detritus on my sand, and its looking terrible, plus my return pump which is a little giant 3, =/

i had it like you have it in my 75 (2 #3's) but it was too much for the corals. I have them pointed at each other from opposite sides of the tank... seems to be just right. Chaotic flow.

id have them half way down on both side facing each other and slightly to the front, plus a powerhead at the back centre top pointing to the front as well

+1 on the below statement. Instead of a power head in the back top, I use my return here.

id have them half way down on both side facing each other and slightly to the front, plus a powerhead at the back centre top pointing to the front as well

I also run a powerhead attached to a spraybar that runs the length of the tank, about 2 inches off the bottom, behind the rocks. It keeps junk from collecting on the bottom of the tank under all the rockwork. It blows it toward the front of the tank where the other powerheads keep it suspended in the water column until the filters can pull it out.
