You ain't no outkast here buddy,
If you are going to keep corals, you might want to consider losing the bacteria based filters. They produce Nitrate which may cause a problem down the road. Puzzled what to do instead? Read this:

it was written specially for you. The rest sounds like an excellent start.
Hope this helps.

ok this is going to sound really bad but here goes. I bought the bowfront and everything for $250(i think, been a while) and I was completely Noob and knew Nothing about reeftanks. so i said how hard can this be. After setting the tank up right next to a big bay window and about 42 gals of TAP water, I get a big complete mess up! what a noob i was. Green hair algae everywhere and tank level gone wild. I figured i should sell it cut my loses and read and study about the hobby first before i try again. So i used the money to buy my BC and now here i am. I thought that buying a AIO would be best for me. Any i'm loving every min of it.

theres nothing wrong with BF s, however they are unique and not everyones cup of tea, you may not have a corner but nearly if not everyone on here has a bow front, welcome to our club
