How many clown gobies in a 150?
Hi all,
I'm planning on keeping small/nano fish only in my tank. The only exception to that rule is the mated pair of Clarkii clowns and their GBTA. They're already in the tank, though I wish I added them after I made this decision. The tank is a 150 and has three main "pillars" of rock, but probably has less rock than most reef tanks. As far as inhabitants go, you have the two clarkii's, an 8" GBTA, and a colony of pulsating Xenia. With that in mind, I was wondering how many clown gobies and neon gobies I can keep in this tank. I'm not sure how aggressive gobies are, but from my experience in keeping a watchman and neon gobies, I assume they can coexist well. Please let me know your thoughts on which species would do well together and which would terrorize each other. Thanks! Mike

Hi chort,
I enjoy watching how fish (and critters in general) interact with their environment and each other. For me, that means having as large a community as possible without overloading my tank. As such, I'd rather have a large community of small fish as opposed to a small community of large fish.
