can i go with a 150 halid or t5

You could go with either but you could also just get a cheap CF spotlight and use that.

I would go with the T-5 so you want be adding anymore heat. you could build a rack to keep the corals higher in the water.

If you have corals that are not doing good, putting them in your sump wouldn't help them any more than if you left them in the display tank. Plus if it is something that can spread, you'll just be letting it spread back to the display tank through the return pump. Get a q-tank for treating sick corals.
