Crushed Coral And Shells

I HAVE CRUSHED CORAL AND SHELLS FOR MY BOTTOM AND I WAS WONDERING IF THIS ISD BAD. SORRY FOR THE CAPS.

well it is not the worst but if i were you i would slowly start to add sand to the top of it. crushed coral is known to collect detris so alot of people dont like to use it all. also sand is better for building bacteria in your tank so in other words it eat nitrates and phosphate.
