Tank decisions

Hi, I posted this in the local thread but figured I would see if any of you guys have some input as well. For a little background, this will be my first reef tank and my current tank is a fish only salt water 55g. Been reading for several weeks and am starting to get some ideas about what I want as far as the setup goes. Feel free to comment or interject any ideas. I haven't purchased anything yet and the tank is first on the list.

I am going to order a 180 gallon reef ready (72" x 24" x 24")
Starphire glass on the front and sides
Dual corner overflows
Black silicone
Eurobraced

I was thinking about 1.5" drain bulkheads and 1" return bulkheads. Does that sound about right? Do you specify exactly where the holes are drilled? If so, where should they be?
Are the overflows generally all the same size or is this something I need to specify as well?

I would appreciate any input. Sorry for so many questions but I thought I'd see if there was anything that some of you might have done differently or wish was different about yours that I might could avoid or change up front.

I don't have the whole thing planned out yet but I will be building the stand myself if that makes any difference.

Thanks for all your help.

As far as I know, Ocea Aquariums was a company out of Florida that went out of business a few years ago.

The website is here. They are based out of Alabama. Out of several quotes I got, theirs was the best. I was going to use glass-cages until I saw a number of people who suggested otherwise.

There seems to be no shortage of used larger tanks/systems on here, craigslist, ebay, etc.

The potential savings would buy some nice equipment for that 180.

Just a thought.

Thanks, I initally was looking for a used setup but can't seem to find anything locally that I'm really interested in. I have a pretty good idea of what I want and I'd rather spend a little more to get exactly what I'm looking for and not settle for something that I'll regret later. I plan to keep this tank for a long time and want to get it right the first time.
Any other input is more than welcome. Thanks.
