new giesemann bulb not firing
Have any of you had any problems with geisemann megachrome 14k 250w mogals not firing. There hooked up to galaxy electronic transformers. My xm's that I replaced fired fine every day. These are brand new bulbs not firing.

I was considering one today, based on your thread, I will go with XM 20 K. I have a magnetic ballest, but I have read this was not a problem with XMs. When it did fire did you like the color?

i had the same problem with two different galaxy ballasts and ushio de bulbs. i hate two break it to you but those giesemann bulbs are just ushios with a +$40 price tag.

I didn't get much growth out of the xm 20k's. Thats the reason I was looking for something around 13-14k, for both growth and the blue.
