Has anyone ever won their battle against hydroids?

I had these colonial hydroids in my my tank ever since i set up my sw tank. I thought they were feather dusters at first so i left them alone. Then i figured out they were hydroids! I tried to remove some of them by using a knife and scrapping/digging them off. I thought i removed them all past 2 month ago, but i saw young hydroids popping up on some of my rocks!

Has anyone ever defeated these hydroids?? without restarting overagain?

I heard that keyhole limpets eat these suckers. Anyone used them yet? and where can i get one...

Not really no. I ended up killing off a large amount of live rock that was covered and kalk pasting or gluing over small amounts or ones that had corals nearby. Still have a few here and there I need to glue but mostly clear.

Most people don't realize that large pieces of coral, which have been painted brown and attached to the skull by common wood screws, can make a child look like a deer.

I have been tweezing them weekly for months now. On rocks I can easily remove I give them a fast pass with a blowtorch.
Otherwise you have to keep up on it as best as you can. I am winning my battle but it is a long one.

do you have the same one as mine?
also is this the Atlantic pygmy? http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_11...ot_parent_id=4
I only have 1 tomato clown, sixline wrasse, 1 peppermint, 1 turbo, and 3 nassarius in a 30g tank. It says there 35g for the Angel... can my tank handle the pygmy angel?

Nice to hear that your winning.
Thought i was winning too when killed the brown hydroids. Then i slacked off a few months, I stopped checking for new hydroids. And now i see new ones. I'm going to try your method. But i'll use a lighter, i dont have a blow torch.. Do i put the lr with hydroids in the tank after torching them?
