I was looking through all of the forums yesterday and found that a person on the SPS forum said he had better growth and color from his SPS when he had his night lights off for an unknown time. So I decided why not try this.
The Plan: For the next 2 weeks have my night led's off and see if I experience the same results as this man. I will take pictures daily and add them on to RC. So stay tuned in for updates. Additional Info: I have not found the same thread I was looking at earlier so if somebody could sight it that would be great. I have heard so people say that Acro's only need so much light at day and with no night LED's on the Sps can rest more. The Pics: ![]() This is my "Oddball Acropora" I have no idea what it is. ![]() This is my crazy greeen Millipora. ![]() This is my Green birds nest. I'm happy with the colors off of this one. But why not? I started this last night. So this is technically day one. I hope I experience some good results. That maybe will back up some of these hypothesis'. |

The orange line is a gorgonian that isn't doing the best. I have a sunpod 150w I use the 6 blue led's at night.
