NOOB needing some help with lighting
OK
so i kinda screwed up i didnt do a TON of research, and kinda went right out and bought my tank too early. I got screwed over at my LFS, with the telling me to buy a certain type of light, and its not strong enuf. I dont know exactly what it is but i know it is a corallife lighting fixture, 48" long. here is a link to the lighting i bought. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...9&pcatid=12109 Im thinking about upgrading to halides, but i want to know a few things first..... 1. Can some 1 tell me the types of corals i could keep with my lighting? 2. Could some send me or post a link for a good metal halide light thats 48" longs, or a t-s(idk if they are the same thing) 3. Would you suggest the upgrade to a halide? 4(last but not least). How many k(kelvin) light should i get? I really need some help so please Thanks guys |
