Best place on the wed to find fish info

I have a 72gallon bowfront that is currently cycleing. I am also working on my stocking list. One thing I have noticed when I go to research fish is that most of them are retail sites. This is fine because you can get a good idea of the varity of the fish out there. But as a fresh water fishkeeper too I would never buy a fish without consulting other sites/people. I was wondering if there was a good data base with fish information out there.

Honestly, this is the first place I go with any questions.

I've learned more in the few months I've been here than anywhere else I've tried. It's also nice because you get alot of feedback and different opinions.

One of the best readily available sites is liveaquaria.com in our sponsors' list above; they tell you diet, bad habits, and adult size (you MUST take account of that one) in quick summary. For the rest, just google the individual fish name on the web. And then ask again in our 'reef fishes' forum on RC for people who have practical experience with said fish.
