Octopus EXT-PS-150
Posted this in another forum, but thought I would post here too...I have a 112g that I am going to run sumpless. I am looking at the EXT-PS-150 and the Octo 800S HOB.
1. Can I run the EXT-PS-150 on a stand behind the tank (peninusla tank), feed it from a powerhead in the tank and have it flow back over the edge? 2. If I can run it as described above, how high will I have to raise it to get the return over the edge of the tank (24" tall tank)? 3. Which skimmer would do a better job on a 112g heavily stocked FOWLR, EXT-PS-150 or the Octo 800S HOB? |

HOB 800s is a very nice HOB. I have not seen a Hang on with more bubbles and air pull.
