return pump plumbing help
Good day all,
I purchased a Sedra 1200 pump from a LFS fas my return pump, but I'm having an issue with its metric fittings. The fitting it came with is a MPT with a barbed fitting, and I was planning on going to 3/4" slip fittings for the return line. The 1/2" MPTx3/4" slip fitting from the hardware store won't fit, anyone have any ideas or just I just take it back and get a MAG 12? Thanks |

Use the barbed fittings and connect via vinyl hose. It will help with noise that way.

Thanks for the reply
 Was planning on using Flex PVC for the return line, at a size of 3/4". However the 3/4" flex PVC is still too big for the barbs. Thats where I am stuck. |
