Arrow Clear green Pearl??????

One of my rocks is producing small like pea size clear green pearls looks like glass they fall off and its only done it once and a new one started growing any clue on what it is ??????? I dont have a pic yet but its pretty much like a clear pea hanging on the bottom of my rock I popped the one that is fairly new ...was trying to take it out and it popped good or bad ?????it was fairly strong casing

Sounds like bubble algea. Bad if it pop inside the tank. Means that it will most likely spread. Emerald crabs are known to eat it.

It is bubble algae. Remove it immediately. Take the rock out of your tank and manually remove it while your problem is small.

oh and not really possible to remove the rock without disturbing alot will one bubble spread its been there a while until i just popped it

ooooh bad mistake popping it, now it will most likely spread. As stated get an emerald crab or if possible take the rock(s) out and scrape it off.

yes i'm sorry it's too late to tell you not to pop it! If you have a large enough syphon you can try to break some loose and suck them out, but you really need to try not to pop any more of them. Emeralds are know to eat them, but i had an outbreak and never go to witness them eating it. I'm sure it's possible that they will eat it, but i just never got to see it. I sucked all of them out that i could and they ended up going away after a while. Good luck!

I ve pulled out one pea size bubble without breaking and 2 other little ones...... Thats all I see and yes zack the green pearls are worth tons of $$$$

never had the green ones but i had a huge plague of red ones and the only solution was manual removal and water changes, water changes. remove the nutrients and stop the growing.
