whay wont my flame angel eat anything i give him?
hes been in my tank for about a week now, i always see him picking at the rock but never what i feed. is he okay or is this going to be an issue. he hides when i feed too

What are you feeding? Was he eating at LFS? Did you QT him?

i work at the lfs and i got him straight from the shipment bag and he wasnt acclimated to their tanks just mine. he was always just picking at the rocks he looks plump and happy and only nervous when i feed. im feeding mysis with garlic and veggie frozen also im considering live brine for the moment. however like ive stated over and over. he looks happy maybe hes just behind the rocks getting the floating leftovers.

Its possible. Keep an eye on him and make sure he stays lookin that way. Maybe try some flake food or pellets.

flame angels eat algae. (that i know of) it seems to be doing the right thing. but cdbias2 is prob right, its prob a typical wild caught fish :P
