Above good example of why I post about LFS. But most here stick up for them and flame me. But I usually can take most of the heat!!

I think that lively debate is great and thanks for all of the comments.
No doubt - from what I have read - one could be set up very quickly - but only through transfer of fully cured rock and under the supervision of folks that really know what they are doing. I am going to TAKE MY TIME. I am in no rush. I look back at my experiences 20 years ago, and I can see that a lack of understanding, and a lack of patience caused some of the problems that I experienced. It was a fish only tank...and I really did not have any terrible problems....it was a very basic 45Wide setup. Now - through the web - I can see what can be done given patience and knowledge. This is not a real established LFS and it has new ownership. I have plenty of time to watch how his business develops over time. Thank s for all of the great comments. Not in a rush. Jay |
