Question on GFO reactor

I'm putting in a GFO/carbon reactor. I know I need to feed it with water from the return section of my fuge but where do I put the discharge? Back into the return section or the display tank? What do you guys do?

I like to toss it back into the return section just in case anything slips past the foam pads.

Isn't that "short cycling" the water?

Your return pump is much stronger then the feed pump on a reactor. I assume by "short cycling" you mean reprocessing already processed water. No, it's not.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll be putting it into the return as y'all suggested. Racer, that does make sense. Hadn't thought of it that way. Thanks Again!

I like to place my feed pump after the skimmer and my return before the skimmer. I do this to try to make sure that the least amount of waste goes through the media reactor, and that bubbles are kept to a minimum.
