If the fish is yours make sure it is being feed 3 times a day..

I don't think that is a female lyretail. Looks more like a Pseudanthias hypselosoma to me. In either case, frequent feedings are recommended, but as I have found out over the last 2-3 years...not necessary. I have several species of Anthias in my tanks, and as busy as I am with work, they all get fed once a day...twice a day on the weekends. None have shown any ill effects.

I agree with rendos it is Stocky anthias aka Pseudanthias hypselosoma i have a trio, great active fish.

Definitely not a LYRETAIL. (had to cap it, lol) But I agree on the other species listed.

you guys are right it is a stocky anthias.......just wish I knew if it were male or female
