T5 Bulb suggstions??

ok, for my FOWLER I am switchin over from halides to T5- Looking for a blue look without loosing those strng colors in the fish. I know 2 much blue red looks bron and yellow looks pail. Any ideas on bulbs? Gonna run 8 54Watts 4by4 over my 300 gallon. Want something thats not green or yellow and really makes the tangs and angles looking banging! Seen pinks, super actinics, no ideas which colors are what. Would really apprecaite the help. In summary, want the fish colors to be vibrant without darkening them out, but still havingthat bluish look. thanks!

There is a T5 Q&A thread in the Lighting forum that will be a better place to ask this.

However, I'll give you my $.02.

If you want the color to be the same on each side of the tank, just use this same combination on both sides.

ATI Blue+
KZ Fiji Purple (gorgeous, gorgeous red and blue mix, I love mine)
GE 6500K (will bring out the bright colors of your fish)
ATI Blue +

If you want to have a more deep blue on one side and a more "daylight" look on the other, you could swap out one of the Blue+ for an ATI Aquablue special (12,000K).

I like the geissemen lamps. I ue 2 aquablue+ and 2 actinic+ on my tank, it gives it that 20k look, kind of a deep water blue.
