Sick Angel?

This just showed up
Had him 2 weeks
Looks like an ulcer or sore
Eats great!!!!
Otherwise good
i have hammer and frogspawn.
Any ideas?

Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
Calcium 400
Phosphate 0
Temp 78

tough to tell from the pic, although it's likely I wouldn't be much help on a diagnosis anyway.

The one thing I can recommend is a cleaner shrimp, if you don't already have one. I had a blood shrimp that was constantly cleaning (and sometimes even riding!!) my flame angel. Unfortunately, I lost it about two months ago. Since then, I often see spots/marks/discolorations on the angel, which I never noticed before. In my case, these are all very minor, barely noticeable, and have not yet caused much concern, but another cleaner shrimp will be my next purchase.

I know this won't ID or cure what may be wrong with your fish, but I have no doubt they are great for prevention, and aid in healing. I hope you get your answer, and your fish is well soon.

I have 2 blood shrimp, but they dont do much cleaning
Will investigate cleaners
