Question Anthias- tank size?

I see it says they need 70g at liveaquaria, but I swear I have seen a lot of people keeping them in nanos....am I completely wrong, or can some be kept in smaller tanks?

Thanks,
Ser

Yeah, I am not interested in getting one now, but maybe down the road. Well depending on what people say. Not getting any fish for a while....well until I easily keep my no3 below 2.5.

Fixing up a canopy is easy, I think there are a lot more difficulties with them then that

I have three dispars in my 60 cube,I have two vortechs for flow, they were bought as juvies and are now a trio of a male and two females. they thrive in high flow, and good water quality, tank size is not the be all and end all.

I think it is because they recommend to feed the fish a meaty source three times a day and this can cause problems with the water chemistry in a smaller tank.
For the record I only feed them twice a day along with the other fish and they are doing just great.
Mind you they never remove their napkins around their neck but that is ignored

Do not buy Tukas. They are probably one of the hardest to keep and LFS sell them to un suspecting people.

I think SeeDemtrails had a Dispar anthias in her 37 gallon. Although, she mayy have some sort of voodoo magic secret because she kept a sailfin tang in there as well.

Ive heard that strong flow compensates for swiming room in smaller tanks, is there any truth to this?
