Good test kits PO4 and others
I'm thinking about starting to dose VSV, but before doing so I want to test my water for a while. Right now I'm using the Master Reef Kit from Red Sea Max. Not that I don't trust it, but I only have the basics and some of you with way more experience would have better suggestions.

I use API. But to each their own. As long as you have a phosphate and nitrate test kit for VSV. And weekly monitoring is a good recommendation to know when and how to adjust you dosing. Good luck

I use API's P04 test but it doesn't read low range values very well since the first two levels are 0 and .25. I posted a question about this in the reef chemistry forum and was told that Salifert and Hach were better kits for this test.
