What type of coral?

I was really hoping I could get a positive ID on this coral. My two thoughts are a type of green star polyp or pipe organ. Top looks like pipe organ, but it doesn't seem to have "pipes". What does everyone think? If the picture isn't good enough, I can get a better shot tomorrow with the pumps off. Thanks for the help.

Mike

I would guess Briareum sp. (Green Star Polyps).

I'ma have to disagree. The corals in the upper left hand corner are definitely GSP. I have the same corals in my tank, they came with some blue clove polyps.

At first I thought they were pipe organ as well, but now I'm beginning to think otherwise. They've changed a bit and the polyps have gotten longer. This was taken about 3 months ago

I'm taggin along cuz I'd like to know what they are as well.

Yes, those are GSP in the top left that you can barely see, but if you look closely at the bad picture of the other piece, you can see that it is much different than your normal GSP. Unless there is a type I have never seen, which is possible.

It looks just like in the pics posted. Any one else have input? Thanks again for all the input thus far.

The original picture looks like star polyps to me as well.

What color is the mat? Purple to reddish-violet = Pachyclavularia. Graysih mat = Briaerium.

The one in the top left of my pic is most certainly Pachyclavularia. The one in the foreground is briareum I believe. Thoughts?
