CPR Continous Siphon Overflow
Ok So I got my aqua lifter for the CPR Continious Siphon Overflow, and I can't get it to work. I have primed it but it seems like it lacks the pressure to create that overflow effect. Anyone else have this? Ideas? Help!

I am not familiar with the CPR brand, but as long as you have full collection cups on both sides of the U bend and suck out all the air, there shouldn't be a problem (assuming it doesn't leak air into the U bend).

All the aqualifter pump does is keep air out of the overflow, it doesn't actually create the "overflow effect" That is caused when the overflow is primed, and have water flowing into it from the tank. Is your main pump running? And where is the water level compared to the inside box?

make sure that the inside and outside box of the overflow is full of water. The outside box will start draining when its full. then start the pump. If the both boxes arent full of water, the pump will just suck air from the side thats not full. I could be wrong, but I didnt think an aqualifter would be strong enough to start a syphon. It will wrk great to elliminate trapped air once the weir is primed and running.
I also agree with utube designs being more reliable....that weir design just scares me a little
