I think thats one of the fun things about reefing you learn so much ,by watching your tank and asking questions.
There are heaps of great threads posted about hitch hikers so I say jump in,keep an eye on your stuff and if your concerned about something pull out (that can be a pain some times)stick it in a jar and look on the forums for an answer or post a thread and I'm sure someone here will help you out.Experience is one of the best ways to learn, good luck with your 75

Honestly, I wouldn't want to deal with the hitch hikers. I got enough when I got my rock, and the TBS have a lot more. I have seen a lot of people post that they loved the TBS packages... but most are by newish people.

At this point, I don't want anything in my tank that I'm not putting in there. No algae, no mantis shrimp, none of that.

Just search "TBS live rock" Ronny, and I'd recommend doing the search in a forum other than the New to the Hobby forum. I did a quick search, and it seems that if you don't mind Mantis Shrimp and Gorilla Crabs... then it's the way to go.

Personally, I would rather sift through the offerings at my LFS (which all my tanks have been set up using). Rock is one of those items they will usually cut you a pretty good deal on if you buy a large quantity at once.

Just seemed that everyone loves what he sends. And the life you get with the rock . And Richard says no curing just put it in tank and test for amonia. Very little die off rock is shiped in water.

Since it's a new tank the rock from Tampa Bay will be fine. I happen to live in the area and picked mine up. My tank cycled much quicker than it normally would have taken IMO. I had some crabs that I got rid of you can take the Mantis if you get any back to your local LFS for store credit. People with aggressive tanks usually keep these. You will get a lot of good things with the rock as well and that is where the payoff is.
