Koralia Magnums...

Just replaced 4 Koralia 4s in my 175 with their mag 6. Man they are stout!!!! Corals and fish are loving the double in flow!!!

2 K4s now in the 90 replacing the K3s!

I'd hate to see the Mag 8s stream!!!

Not that many. One large torch that seems to love flow, 2 large lobos, their polyps are out and flowing right now, one orange plate, one blasto, 2 acans that are pretty protected from anything drastic.

PE on the feeders right now is incredible!!!!

I'd love to upgrade my K4s for my SPS, but it'll probably bother my bubble and hammer too much.

I agree---I'm running 3 #4's and have lost hammer coral twice and frogspawn recovering in another tank. I don't if it the type of flow or its wide range but they just don't like it.
I also have a torch that is starting to show signs that it doesn't like the heavy flow

Hydor has a new guy in the office - Mike - call him to arrange an exchange of any problem Hydor item - sharp guy I think - (916) 920-5222 (sorry, I don't have their 800#).

You will have to send any problem Koralia back though - some guys are not sending theirs back once they get a replacement and then are selling the problem pump on E-Bay so it can exchanged again

Also heard Hydor is getting their own website for North America!

I have had stray voltage problems in the past but they have always been stealth heaters. The last one put me to my knees when I grabbed it inside my 40 gal frag tank

One the display tank I installed a ground probe for past issues but I will definetly get a voltmeter and run a check again since it has been about 2 years since an issue

Thanks for the heads up

I have koralias in both tanks and my hands in the tanks daily. No voltage problems. Both tanks are grounded with the Ti+ rods--don't know if that makes a diff here though.

I replaced 3 K-3's with two mag 5's and the differance is unbelivable. I do like the magnums also, plus they have a lower power consumtion.
