LR Poss. Dying?
There are dime size parts of my LR that are turning black. Does anyone know if this is dead matter? Is it poss. to have too much of a load causing this? I have had 1-Damsel and 1-clown with three lbs. of LR in a 10 gal tank for 1 year with no trouble or toxic readings.
I use RO water and no skimmer. Thanks for any suggestions.

i also get that black stuff
i think its a sort of sponge because if you touch it, it feels felty and you cant really scrape it off it may not be the exact thing i have but try to scrape it with your finger and if it feels felty and doesnt come off probably what i have im still trying to figure out what it is tho =)

It sounds a lot like a sponge to me. A picture would help. What are your water parameters?
