Tiny Stars on Glass ?

Hey RC,

I just noticed there are tiny spots on the glass of my tank and upon closer inspection they appear to by tiny looking star shaped "things" for lack of a better word.

They do not move, but they definitely appear to be soem form of life. They resemble GSP, but are tiny and transluscent. Has anyone noticed something liek this before.

I do not thing they are any kind of pods since they don't really crawl arround or have any real legs.

Just curious if anyon has seen anything like this before.

Sounds like a type of hydroid. Not one of the bad ones IIRC. They'll come and go but never result in much.

Sounds like hydroid jellyfish. Do they look like this?

Yes that is very close to what they look like, I think the picture you show is a more developed version. I will have to get information about these guys.
