What kind of fish do you have and what did you add? It may be possible something ate them. Also you could run carbon to help get rid of the copper. I don't think you should have a prob if you just added the fish only.

KOLE TANG, TOMATO CLOWN, PURPLE FILEFISH. THESE ARE THE FIRST THREE FISH IN THE TANK . I GUESS I PROB SHOULD OF QUARANTINED THEM BUT SINCE THEY WERE THE FIRST.

Even if they are the first fish, they can bring in pathogens such as ich (even if they are not exhibiting symptoms) which will stay in your tank and possibly affect future additions.

Now, if these were the first fish and you had no inverts in the tank, you could use your display tank as a the quarantine tank, but....

Much easier to have a separate tank for that purpose. I know the deed is done now, and I am not much help. but just something to keep in mind.

for your specific problem, I would run carbon for several days and keep an eye on the rest of your inverts.

Pep shrimp usually come out at night, they are very mischievous little creatures. I bet they are just hiding in the rocks somewhere.

Give it some time. As long as you poured off the copper treated water it is very unlikely that you contaminated the tank with enough copper to kill your inverts.

A QT greatly decreases these risks and may others so I would recommend it going forward.

The copper was not the issue. There is probably as much copper in a fresh batch of salt water since salt has it in it.

you'd be hard pressed to find a LFS that doesn't run copper in their fish only systems

Actually where I work we don't run any meds in the system. No "hyposalinity" either. We seldom have problems with our fish.

You are one of the few lucky ones. Usually the stress of capture and transport leaves the fish susceptible to disease.

pepermint shrimp molt and hide for days while their shells are forming. This way they dont get eaten as well.My sally lightfoot hides for about one week then I find the molt.

I'm honestly quite surprised at the amount of success we experience, considering the manager's closed-minded outdated methods.

P.S. Sorry to go off topic.
