HOB Skimmer Recommendations

Hi all,
I would like to get some recommendations for a hang on back skimmer to be used on a 20G tank. The tank is my QT and is rarely used but I keep it running all the time so that it's ready if needed. Tank has nothing in it but a few pieces of rock but I feed it when I feed my display so that it stays cycled. I'm just looking for something that will pull that stuff out.

Also, if I run a skimmer can I discontinue using the Millenium 1000 that I run on the tank. I run plastic media and a sponge in that.

Thanks,
Mike

With a 20g with minimal life in it? Just a suggestion, but I wouldnt even bother. Water changes would do fine. I have a 65 with 3 small fish. Everytime I do a water change, it takes 2 weeks to actually start pulling again, then its about time for another WC.

That's kind of what I do now. If I take 10G out of the 125 I put 5 of that in the QT. Normally I don't worry about it but when I do put fish in there I've seen bubbles forming in the corners of the tank. I've also thought of drilling a small hole in the uptake tube of the filter I'm running so that it's sucking some water from the surface. Just a thought I suppose.

I have a CPR Bak Pak RR on my cycled 20L QT.
You can usually pick those up for short $$$ used.
